What joining the list does, and does not, mean.
These are the Terms and Conditions of Personifi AI, which operates Whispr. Effective October 5, 2026.
Who we are

Agreeing to these terms
By joining the list, holding a place, or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older and in the United States to do any of those things.
Joining the list
Whispr is not on sale yet. It is planned and may never be produced or shipped, and no date is promised anywhere on this site. Joining the list means we will email you as things progress and ask you what the product should do. It is not an order, it does not guarantee you a unit, and it does not commit you to buying anything.
Holding a place
Ticking the reserve box records that you would like a place in the first production run. No payment is taken today. When reservations open, holding a place will cost a small refundable deposit. The amount will be shown before you pay.
A deposit holds a place in line. It is not an order or a sale, and it does not fix a price, set a ship date, or guarantee a unit. You can cancel at any time before you place an order, for any reason, and we will refund the full deposit to your original payment method within 7 business days. If we cancel the program, we refund everyone automatically. Before any unit ships we will ask you to confirm an order at a stated price and ship date.
Email from us
We will send you product news and, occasionally, a question. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Use it and the emails stop.
Whispr text messaging (SMS) terms
Program. Whispr Family Messages is run by Personifi AI. If you opt in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Whispr at the mobile number you gave.
What we send. Messages sent to you from a Whispr speaker by the person who uses it, delivery and service notices about those messages, and replies to texts you send to the speaker. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in. You opt in yourself, in one of two ways: by entering your own mobile number on this site and ticking the text message consent box, or by joining a family member’s Whispr speaker in the Whispr family app, where you enter your own mobile number and agree to the same text message consent. We do not text a number that somebody else gave us. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies. It depends on how often your family member sends you messages and how often you write back.
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. We send one message confirming you are unsubscribed. You can also opt out by emailing hello@whisprlove.com or telling us in any other clear way. We act on it right away, and in any case within 10 business days. Reply START to opt back in.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is available on US mobile numbers. You confirm the mobile number you give is yours, and you agree to tell us if you change or give up that number. How we handle your mobile number is set out in our Privacy Policy.
The chat on this site
The chat bubble is an automated AI assistant, not a person. It can be wrong. Nothing it says changes these terms, sets a price, or promises a ship date.
What is on this site
Product images on this site are renders of the current design, not photographs of a finished unit. Features, design, price and availability may change before launch. The loneliness figures we quote are other people’s published research, cited where they appear; they are not findings about Whispr and we make no claim that Whispr changes them.
Whispr is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Whispr is not an emergency device. It does not monitor anyone, does not call for help, and does not dial 911. That is a decision, not an omission, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise.
The site, the Whispr name, the logo and the images belong to Personifi AI. Please do not copy them, scrape the site, or misuse the chat. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
THIS WEBSITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. To the extent the law allows, our total liability relating to this site or to a reservation is limited to the amount you have paid us. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived, including the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Governing law
Texas law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Texas, and in Travis County where the law allows that choice. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects a deposit you have paid, we will email you first and you can take a refund instead.
